Place of birth/Geboorteplaats: Nema Kuta, Gambia

Family/Familie: I was living with my dad, mum and my brother Omar. Unfortunately my dad passed away when I was 4 years old.  At that time were living in a village called Nema Kuta, but in 2010 my mum has moved to Jonkel, a village in the Foni district area./Oorspronkelijk woonde ik samen met mijn ouders en broer Omar. Helaas overleed mijn vader toen ik nog een klein meisje van 4 jaar was. In die tijd woonden we in het dorp Nema Kuta, echer mijn moeder is in 2010 verhuisd naar Jonkel, een dorp in het Foni district.

Home address/Woonplaats: Currently I am living in Brikama Perseverance, the second biggest city of The Gambia with my brother and niece./ Momenteel woon ik in Brikama Perseverence, de 2^e stad van Gambia, samen met mijn broer en nicht.

My education/Mijn opleiding: I started my studies with my brother at home. He used to educate me when he came from school. By then I was not enrolled in school, but he observed that I was good and brilliant. Then he tried to help me to get enrolled in school with the help of the noble AlFra Foundation./Oorspronkelijk werd ik door mijn broer onderwezen wanneer hij uit school kwam. Hij vond dat ik goed kon leren en heeft me, met hulp van de AlFra Foundation, op school ingeschreven.

Current education/ Huidige studie: I am studying arts, which is containing many different kind of technologies, tourism, history and politics of the country at the Kinderdorf Bottrop Senior Secondary School . I hope to finish this study in 2013./Momenteel zit ik op de Kinderdorf Bottrop Senior Secondary School, waar ik diverse vakken heb, zoals technologie, toerisme, geschiedenis en politiek. Ik hoop in 2013 deze studie af te ronden.

My/Mijn hobbies: I like reading novels, especially fiction stories and hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy sports activities, but I am not good at sports./ Ik houd van lezen, vooral fictie en bij mijn vrienden zijn. Ik kan ook genieten van diverse sporten, maar ben er zelf niet goed in.

Your goals in life and why the AlFra Foundation is important to you in order to achieve those goals/Wat zijn je levensdoelen en welke rol speelt de AlFra Foundation in het realiseren van die doelen: I want to promote business in the country. It depends what kind of business I will be able to have in future. My study is broad enough to teach me how to control a million different kinds of businesses ./Ik wil graag een eigen bedrijf hebben. Mijn studie is divers genoeg om in de toekomst een goede keuze te kunnen maken.
